► TeleCollections Using A Predictive Dialer
A Predictive Dialing system is a distributed network of PCs over
a LAN (Local Area Network).
The system is made up of three basic groups of PCs:File Server - For campaign management
and reporting,Dialing Control Server - which handles all dialing and phone line
switching; and Agent PCs.
A Predictive Dialer uses a sophisticated adaptive/predictive dialing algorithm to
adjust the rate of outbound call placements based on such dynamic variables as the
number of active agents, phone lines and campaigns, line/agent ratio per campaign,
and average talk time, to place outbound calls automatically. The dialer screens
out no answer and busy signals, and connects the agent only to live calls using
TCI (Telephony Computer Integration) and an ACD (Auto Call Distribution) system
thereby dramatically increasing the number of contacts and agent talk time per hour.
At the time of contact the computer displays the relevant account information of
the cardholder to the telecollector automatically. Predictive dialing technology
allows agents to speak exclusively with live contacts in rapid succession; the computer
does all the work.
